Sales Manager

  1. Overview
    We are seeking a Sales Representative for Clestra Hauserman in Japan. This central role covers every stage of the sales process—from initial design to delivery and after-sales service, working closely with clients, designers, and project teams. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for those who excel in specialized sales, allowing you to manage complex projects and build lasting client relationships.
  1. Main Responsibilities

 

  1. a) New Business Development & Sales Promotion
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities, including office expansions, relocations, and new developments.
  • Generate sales opportunities and build a strong pipeline of leads.
  • Promote sales through maintenance and after-sales service for existing clients.
  1. b) Industry Knowledge & Sales Planning
  • Develop strategic sales plans informed by our sales guidelines.
  • Build a client portfolio and generate new business leads.
  1. c) Client Relations & Coordination
  • Propose tailored product solutions, negotiate terms, and set pricing.
  • Coordinate with design and construction teams, managing post-project after-services.
  • Attend delivery and oversee installation follow-up.
  1. Selection Criteria & Qualifications
  1. a) Experience & Skills

  • Intermediate English skills or higher (TOEIC score of 550 or above).

- A willingness to actively learn is also required.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and other common Office software. Alternatively, basic Windows knowledge for the rapid acquisition of these tools through simplified training.
  • (For non-Japanese nationals) Proficiency in Japanese equivalent to a native speaker is required.

[Preferred]

  • Sales experience within the construction or interior design industries, ideally with partitions or related products, services and or materials.
  • Strong ability to work effectively with contractors, design firms, and end users.
  • Established connections within the construction and design industries are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in business development.
  • A background in construction on office interiors is highly valued.
