IEQ 4.1. Low-emission materials: adhesives and sealants

CLESTRA'S CONTRIBUTION TO THIS TARGET

Clestra steel walls do not require any glue. The usual method for rendering wall finishes smooth is to glue a plaster sheet to the inside. This process, which Clestra has never implemented, is advantageously replaced by a series of welded metal stengtheners guaranteeing the same finish, but without using plaster (difficult to recycle) or glue.

Full, quantified information about the environmental and health impacts for the entire lifecycle has been calculated for a standard Clestra product.
