MR 4 Recycled Content

CLESTRA'S CONTRIBUTION TO THIS TARGET

Clestra mandates a requirement on its suppliers to use recycled materials. The main components in Clestra walls are made of steel, aluminum, glass and rock-wool. Their manufacturing includes a high part of recycled matter (up to 50%), conserving natural resources.

To guarantee the rigidity of the wall panels, Clestra uses welded strengtheners instead of plasterboard glued to the facings. At the end of it’s life cycle, our wall breaks down easily enabling the sorting out of the materials and providing a high recycling rate that decrease landfill waste.

All Clestra walls include more than 20% of recycled materials (by mass). Some of them reach a recycled content upper than 30%.
